Muscoot Bass

Landing some nice ones on the Muscoot!
Just a quick picture & back into the reservoir, any ideas on how to weigh one? (without stressing or injuring the fish) I always catch & release.

Thanks,

Welcome to the forums and thanks for a great first post!

Looks like Biz said, a good 4+ lbs. I appreciate that you pointed out the catch & release method that most of us use with bass. I don't judge the people who might make dinner out of one (when it's in season) but it's great to know I have a shot at that fish while it gets bigger. Muscoot has some big bass.

Best Always,
Vinny
PS: I'll throw that shot into my gallery now that school's over for a couple of weeks I can back to that project.

nice catch,
what did you catch that breast on?  i would agree, it looks to be at least 4 pounds +.  Good job for practicing catch and release.

Thanks for the replies

He Jumped on a worm from "Bass pro shops Tournament Series", I didn't get a chance to measure him - It was just a quick picture & then back in he went.

See Ya on the Muscoot
