Lake George trip and pics.
« on: June 21, 2010, 09:40:14 am »
Caught some LM Bass and SM bass off the dock of our motel Saturday (opening day of Bass) and Sunday mornings...all caught using live shiners.  Saturday morning did a charter for Lake Trout.  I caught 6, my girlfriend caught 2 of them.  Of course, my girlfriend catches the biggest 1 of the day, and one of the bigger ones caught this year on Lake George so far.  The fish was 30" and 10lbs (female)....it was caught on 6lb. test line at 95 feet deep. It took her close to 15 minutes from start to finish to land. We went out on Highliner Charters with Justin Mahoney.  He was great, very personable, used light tackle so we would have many more hookups. He worked hard the entire time. Below are some pics...

I know you're young but any woman who will fish with you and then actually hold a fish is a keeper.  ;D

Great report,
Vinny

Any woman who will let you fish is a keeper.
Any woman who will actually fish with you is a Goddess.

Haha, well the guide called it from the beginning....he said the women and children always catch the biggest ones.

There's someting to be said about that.My Dad had my Mom on a charter on Lake George, on 6/1 way up in the north end,Justy-Jo  Charters. Anyhow, they got 19 fish in 5 hours ,17 lakers, with the biggest @ 9lbs, guess who landed it? Mom of course, she was handed the rod 9 times and landed every fish. All these years I thought got fishitis from Pop, I could be wrong. First time she went out fishing, not to bad,Phish.
