yea I fished it quite a bit this spring.
Cross river which flows through the park is stocked with brown trout and also contains native brook trout. It is a very nice place to fish and gives you a sense of remoteness as you have to hike in to get to the river in most places. Most of the trout i caught there this spring were small native brook trout. they aren't big but they are beautiful fish. look for some of the deeper pools and you'll find some fish. I've even caught a tiny largemouth, smallmouth and yellow perch which must have swam up from the Res.
the river is catch and release only, no live bait allowed.

I haven't...but I really dig that park.

I believe it is strictly catch and release...good idea to crush the barbs.  I have seen trout tight to the bridge near the picnic area inside the park....both up and down current.

I usually go there to watch the trout and not to fish. There usually a lot of people around, and because of the easy access at that location, I think it is nice to reserve the the fishing for children.

There are some definitely some nice deep-n-shady holes down stream...

Hi! I`ve observed fish and fished in the WPR. The stream has a beauty all of of its own. It receives regular stocking and has a population of native brookies. As far as I know no-kill zone starts down the Kimberley bridge and ends at the area just opposite the toll booth.
