Gonna work Kensico this year for the big ones...
« on: March 25, 2010, 09:30:27 am »
I know big bass are in there I just have to figure out where. I'm gonna map out more of the lake with my depthfinder and GPS this season. One of my angling idols pulled an 8 pounder out a few years ago. He's a "Catch & Release" guy, like most with bass, so hopefully that fish has gotten bigger.  ;D

I'm psyched for this season starting in a few days. Good luck to everyone out there.

I've got my boat in the same area as you Vinny, while I haven't boated a monster yet i've lost a few that have had the rod bending pretty good so i believe there are some big boys or girls swimming around. My goal is a 5+ this year and i'm very confident about getting that.

In July 2009 I was sitting on Kernsico tying a swivel on when a LMB surfaced and belly-rolled, like a submarine doing an emergency surfacing. It was like looking at my thigh--had to be closer to 10 pounds than any other number. Left me speechless!
