whats a good color to use for a crawfish lure in the new croton?....the water is pretty clear in the new croton isnt it?.....a natural color would work best right?.....a dark red or dark green maybe?

we think they are doing something to the birds ;Dcrawsdads are active mostly at night so early morn or late in the day are the best times to use them.i guess you can try them all day if the water is dark enough

I have not noticed a time of day was better to use craws.  I have had success with them all times of the day on many different reservoirs.  I was slaying them on Kensico with a paca craw on a football jig head all throughout the mid-day.  Kensico happense to be the clearest reservoir in Westchester.
