I toss it out with the rest of the trash when I get back to shore.  As for the WD I don't use it.

The one time I went on a charter boat in lake Ontario, they didn't spray WD on the plugs.  Not saying it's not done up there but my guy didn't and we caught loads of trout. I'm with you it just seem right. like the old saying you don't **** where you eat.

Just wondering how much damage DEP is doing to the water  when they use a outboard motor. And I don't hear you guys crying about them. So give the guy a break.

No ones crying or giving him a hard time.  Just giving alternatives to using it or saying they don't think it's needed.

Wow, little extreme fellas, so, when mother nature calls, your way out in the boat, what are you doing?

the fish pee in the water also.pee is biodegradable and wd40 is not.

If you take a charter boat out on lake Ontario they all use wd40 on there lures.I do not use it myself because of polluting the water.
Seriously, we are worried about wd40 mist, when these charter boats are running 150hp plus motors and kickers?C'mon, what's next, electric only?

why add to it?laws are passed that have made outboards much cleaner.we are trying to cut down on pollution and not increase it.

While you all are discussing if WD-40 is a good attractant I'll continue to use Herring or Anchovy oil and catch my Lakers and Browns with a natural and biodegradable fish oil!
 ;)

Seriously, Dodge, there is enough water in the Great Lakes to cover the Continental United States 9 feet deep, a fact. The spray of WD 40 is going to compromise the wholesomeness of the water?

a little wd40,a little coolant, a little battery acid, and what ever else i can dump in there.it won't hurt.it's all good.

Lets just let this lie, the funny thing is I don't even use it, if you read the original post by me, (as a response), it was a reason on why it became popular (in theory) to use.Tight lines, Howie.
