Whats a Laker?

I know this is a ridiculous question but, what exactly is a laker and are they in titicus? :-[

A Laker is a Lake Trout. And I'm certain there aren't
any in Titicus. There are Brown Trout in Titicus.

While the above statement is true, the eastern Brook Trout as well as the western Dolly Varden
is also a Char. And all salmon, trouts and chars belong to the salmoninae subfamily.
I don't know if you meant on a genetic level but I find it interesting that while
the arctic char, brook trout and dolly varden all go sea-run to an extent, the Laker
doesn't being the most intolerant of salt water of all. Yet, Lakers and Arctic Char are known to
occasionally interbreed.
