I use the thinner leader line, 6lb if I can, because I want this sawbelly to swim naturally.  Thicker flouro lines tend to be more rigid and will limit mobility of the little fish.  Sawbellies are not very good survivors, especially in the worm water, so the less stress they endure, the longer they live and the more naturally they look on you hook.
