Have you been able to keep sawbellies alive overnight in the summer time?

Yes. Kept the bucket in the garage where the temp is a lot cooler than outside.

This year, I will try using a 5 gallon bucket from home depot and an aerator that you plug into the wall (to save batteries on my quiet bubbles).  I will need to keep them outside so we'll see how hot it is over night and how much heat they can sustain.

I did that once many years ago. The raccoons had a party
and I had no bait the next morning.

Your best bet would be to make sure it has a styrofoam insert in it and then throw ice cubes in.With the aeratoralso should be ok.

I would say use the air-rader system along with their suggestions and you'll be fine. (thatll keep the water from losing any oxygen)
I don't exaggerate I just remember BIG!!!
