How good can lures like Mepps Aglia Long Mino and Mepps Aglia Long or similar ones be on Kensico?

No reason why they would't work. Although I prefer to use spoons and sometimes
minnow type lures, I did have an enormous Brown follow my 1/4 oz yellow rooster tail
once. Didn't hit hit, but followed it twice.
Please give those spinners a try and let us know. I an't imagine any smallmouth not
going for it right now.

Hi Alex1, i fish from the shore 3 to 4 times per week and i use cheap looking rubber sawbellies that work every single time i go out. I have only caught bass with these lures but never been disapointed yet. Last week caught a 4 and a five pound large mouth within and hour at ken. I usually walk around pretty far maybe 2 miles from the bridge. U need to really work the shore and not be afraid to wander pretty far around.  (ALSO WATCH OUT FOR SNAKES)    ;D GOOD LUCK
