Whats in your Vise?
« on: February 04, 2012, 06:40:18 PM »
I just started tying my own midge and copper john flies and wanted to know what else people are tying.

Saw a thread like this on myfishfinder.com but never seen one here.  So what are people tying?

Cant begin to tell you how many fish we caught this year on jigs, at least 100 fish to the net. One morning in November my guys caught 22 fish by 10:30am, all on jigs. Just an unbelievable day! FISH ON!

Great Looking flies.  Haven't tried to tie a bugger yet.  Those steelhead flies look great too.  inspired me to tie some tonight in hopes that I can get up to Salmon River this weekend

I really got into zebra midges tonight, ended up tying a variety of them... I know flies tend to reflect different colors under water so hopefully one of these will work!
