If im after big fat lazy trophy sized fish, bait always for the job, and lures for everything else.  Seems to get bigger fish on big bait and more consistent action with the lures - with exceptions of course

if i go by myself i will troll with lures  if im going with a friend  we will drift bellies/ minnows and cast lures  seems to even out which is better
