Nice fish but one not legal and the other barely legal. A couple of weeks ago someone had a pic on here holding a ten inch brown from Cfr with two hands. I'm sure you released these fish safely, but you should consider not boating them or if youmust, not laying them on the deck. They aren't bass

Thank you for your concern, I can ensure you, I take the time to release every fish i catch in good shape as well as unharmed.  Even if that means cutting the hook if removing the hook will cause to much damage.  There is nothing wrong with boating a catch as well as holding them up for a quick picture.  And that pic of someone holding a 10" brown in CFR was me i'm assuming you are referencing.  My hands are always wet and the fish are never out of the water for more than 1 minute at a time.  I never let the fish flop around the boat deck.  I am pretty concerned for the trouts well being as well.

".I believe a landing net with a soft mesh bag is essential to landing a large fish without harm. Once the fish is in the net, keep him under the water while removing the hook. Barbless hooks can be removed easily and help limit undue handling of the fish. If you want a hero picture, get the camera settings and focus adjusted before you lift the trout from the water. Don't drag the fish out on the bank or on the deck of a boat! Remember, the trout you catch also belong to the other anglers on the river."

The first paragraph is a quote from a book on fly fishing etiquette.  The treatment equally applies to boat fishing.  I meant no disrespect to you. I always assumed you were a conscientious fisherman. I looked back and I guess the picture was yours of the small trout

Many fish that we return look healthy bit may die anyway.  We need to do all we can to increase their chances.  I have seen responsible fisherman drop fish, accidentally foul hook themafter Initially unhooking them. Laying them on the deck can remove the protective coating or cause infection

I stand by my initial statement. How many pictures do we need of a fish that is 6 to 8 inches away from just being a keeper?

Sorry I am not good at posting from my phone and I posted by accident at an unfortunate spot. Again, I mean you no disrespect. I was about to say that the fish from the earlier picture looked native based on shape. I believe he could grow to be a trophy

You are skilled and know how to handle fish, but many who read here will not be. We have to make sure we don't portray the wrong picture to new fishermen.
