Finally!!

Finally after many failed attempts I hooked up a Kenisco brown trout, it measured 16in but I did not weigh. I was fishing from a rock on boat area 8 casting kroc's.

CNY Congrats on your first Brown Trout. That is exactly how I caught my first Kensico Brown last season! Those spoons work really well. How was the fight?

Congrats!!!!  Im still searching for my first Kensico brown.  Got skunked this morning.  Did I row by you about 11:00am?  I talked to a guy for a minute who was fishing from shore, but I don't know the boat areas that well.  Either way congrats on putting a brown on the board!

BigWilly- No that was not me, I arrived around 12:15. I fished Kenisco last year about 15 times trying to catch a trout but got skunked each time. I will definitely be back there tomorrow lol.

Nada, I was ready too. New line on the rods.  Busted out my new leadcore setup that I have been wanting to try.  Had some new Croc spoons working.  I still had a really good time enjoying a crisp morning.  I would have much rather got there at 12:15 instead of 7:15 and landed my first Kensico Brown instead of getting skunked, but whatever.  I'm totally kidding, great job putting in the hours and getting the spoils.  I'm sure it felt great to check that one off the list.  Many more browns to come!
