Ice fishing for SMelt

 the smelt made there way to kensico  via the aqua duct from WB  they also made ther way to croton falls down the stream. i opened the belly of a 6.6lb brownie and it had a belly full of 2 inch smelt in it  and yes 45- 50 years ago they were in croton falls but were netted out completely dont know about LLs though they were once stocked in Kensico and the biggest on record there is a 15 lb
