Happy New Years to all of you. Thank you all for all your help this year and for dealing with my constant post! I appreciate it. I have some personal new years resolutions but for the part that you all care about. It more about learning or keeping tract of my fishing trips, spending less money!, and Spending more Time on the water! So be safe all of you in your travels this holiday season and let's all look forward to a great 2012 fishing season!!!

2011 a year of a bunch of pb..but more important great friends that money can't buy...special thanks to VinnyH, KenH, Manny, Resdog, johnjav  and my new friend Big willy..lots of blessings for us all..may 2012 bring us our wishes come true..and hopefully the maya are wrong and we can fish till we are all Howard Browns age (92)...support our locals John from Bob's, Big willys rod smithing and Jack Stewart who has been a great friend to me..Happy New Year WF..let the derby begin tommorow..bring your "A" game people.

Yes, happy new year to everyone here! This is a great forum and definitely a bunch of good guys all around. Hope some of you can get some fishing in tomorrow, you don't see this kind of nice fishing weather on new years day very often!

I'd like to thank each and everyone on WCF for making this site what it is, a friendly community where I can home to and talk fish!  I've gone from a "I'm never going on the water" guy, to owning 2 boats in the most popular reservoirs in NYC.  I've gone from never catching a bass, to catching countless bass, both large and small mouth in the upper range of 4-5lbs.  I've gone from a bait fisherman, to 90% lures this year, thanks to the tips and help from this site.  Thank you!

Thanks erik.  Overall this was a great fishing year for browns for me.  I accomplished some nice goals which was to land a big brown on my fly fod and to land a big brown trolling.  It took the entire season but it all paid off. 

Thanks for all the help and advice everyone.  Lets all have a great 2012 fishing season.

We truly do have a nice mix of guys. Some are shyer than others, some are a little feisty, but we all ultimately lookout for each other. Not unlike the outside world. LOL
