Gorilla Pod, right? Thats what I have. Got it from LL Bean for like $15-$20 I think. Its awesome, it can attach to trees, or stand on its own, etc.

Yeah that is it.  It's pretty cool.  It can attach to anything pretty much.

When the air temp is colder than the water temp......and you're not standing on ice..........you deserve to catch a fish.    Good job.

The fish in CFR, generally, like to run up and down that Stoneleigh causeway, and the wind has pushed me up against it many times.

After i caught this brown i fished in the area for two more rounds.  I ended up getting snagged in 60 feet of water and lost one of my expensive lures.  I called it a day after that line break.  I trolled with 1 rod back to my spot and stopped along the way and fished spoons.  It was dead the hour rowing back, didn't even see a fish on the fish finder.

The only time i felt it was when i was trying to get this fish off the hook.  The wind seemed to pick up and was tossing the boat against the shore!

Nice fish!  Gotta love the fight of a Brown! Glad to see someone catching in CFR as I was skunked all year there.  Have a FF on the Christmas list, so maybe that will help next season.

I had a pretty rough year on CFR as well.  This is the first year out of 6 seasons i didnt land a LMB over 5 pounds.  Only landed a bunch of smaller LMB and a handful of smaller SMB.  Same goes for the browns!  Hopefully next season will be a blast.  Your FF will def. help for sure!
