I am quite sure night fishing is allowed, I just did a quick check of the rules and reg. and I did not see anywere were it was prohibited.

Manny, as Chris said, Yes.  Have never had a problem fishing at night.

I've also noticed, generally, DEP is not coming out to check you on ice.  DEC will definitely come out and visit, but I have been "watched" by DEP out there and checked while coming or going (on land) for access permit, etc., but they seem to not want to take the walks out on the hard water.

With it being so warm this time of year, I got at least a month before its safe to get out.
