Managed to get out on sunday mroning, bright and early--actually, overcast, windy, freezing cold wind chill but early....with a dozen shiners on Rye side. At about 8.30am, in very deep water, nailed a 3.25pound laker. Belly was full of bait, and the fish was very fat, but not particularly long for the weight. Going out this afternoon--first 70 degree day! Just hope the wind doesn't kick up too much.

Good Luck today, I've been at work. I have a planned trip on Saturday but they are predicting thunderstorms mixed in with all day rain. I hope they're wrong like they have been lately.
