Anyone who wants to target carp should give Croton Falls a shot.   I have seen carp in there the size of small livestock :)

It was over 30 in and I released it after the pic's I didn't weight it cause my uncles batteries were dead. But my adrenaline was so high I couldn't tell you the weight but I would assume it was between 25 and 30 Lbs
Lets go Yankee's

All the reservoirs have carp in them and they don?t hurt the fishing, this is old misinformation some of the cleanest waters in the world have carp in them.  Most of the big carp on Long Island have been removed from the ponds by those guys and thay also take bass and other fish and you?re lucky if you catch one small carp of two lbs. they take all and from dirty waters.  I am a believer that all trophy size carp should be let go unharmed. If you want to eat carp take one or two small carp,  not all and  Every  like they guys do.  The sport of  Carp fishing is becoming popular in the us.

Yes, that?s the polluted Hempstead Lake.   They mad it catch and relies a few years ago to try and get the fish count up .The Last time I was there a guy caught a perch of two inches and he kept it, I told him the lake was catch and relies and all of a sudden he did not speak English. They move from lake to lake as they fish them out.
