lionpshark, I am very thank you for your advice. It is very helpful. I will carefully read all the post in during the holiday. When I saw westchesterfishing forum and registered right the way. I like fishing, but not enough experience. I need to learn and wish to learn. I think I will catch more fish. For now, I am just a Kindergarten fishing man. I could not contribute useful info for everyone. But I have tone of questions! :)
I am very happy can see everyone's answer and I hope I will share my trophy Kensico fishing experience soon!

I'm quite new to this myself, but I'd have one piece of advice:
get yourself a fishfinder.   8)

You can try eBay - it will reduce the guesswork as to what depth the fish are at.

Plus, even if you're not catching them, at least you'll see that they're there!

Good luck.
If I can escape the concrete jungle, I will...

haha, you are right, Dublin. I do need to see them. Actually, I have a fish finder, hummingbird fish buddies. It is handy FF.  I just wondering, if you caught a fish which was showing on the screen, the fish mark will disappear or still there? Every time I can see some many fish shows on the screen, but they don't hit!  And also, how can I know how big the fish will be? I have a setting when bigger shows up, it will alarm. This FF have three different size marks to show fish size. I can smallest marks very ofter, but i could not know how big they are. And some fish mark like a penny size shows on the small scree. I always consider they are very huge. By your experience, could you tell how big the penny size fish mark should be? What is the biggest fish you caught in Kensico?

Tong-
The name Fishfinder is a bit misleading because while yes it does locate fish,
it's value is more often in terms of letting you know the depth and bottom structure of the waters you are fishing. It also lets you know the depths at which the fish are located. So it helps you to be aware of your fishing environment and fish most effectively, which in turn will improve your catch.
But it is a mistake to think that every fish you see on the FF is a potential catch. Sometimes they are not hungry, they are different species of fish, or baitfish, or even readings of other suspended materiel that gets translated as a fish. Admittedly, there have been a few occasions where I did spot the fish on FF, adjusted my presentation depth and caught the fish. But in 99% of the time you do not see the fish that you catch. And the fish you see on the FF won't hit your presentation.
