Got Boat?
« on: April 07, 2008, 02:18:34 pm »
Hey, I was going to wait for the sawbellies to show, but after reading that lakers are being had on shiners I need to fish. Here's the problem, I have no boat on Kensico. I previously posted about a reservoir trip swap. I have boats on Roundout and Pepacton. The next 2 Saturdays April 12th and 19th I have a very rare open all day calender. I would like to get out on Kensico with one of you guys and it would be my pleasure to get you out on the reservoirs I call home. I have all the gear for 2 guys to fish. Dying to try the techniques we use at Pepacton and Roudout, on Kensico, the plan would be drift 4 rods with shiners. Let me know if anyone is interested?Thanks,Da-phish.

Phish,
I only have Sunday the 13th open. After that I'll be watching for a few weeks after shoulder surgery on the 16th.
Hopefully someone here can get you out on one of those Saturdays. I get the feeling you'll have a lot of trout knowledge to share.

Best Always,
Vinny

Vin, good luck with the surgery, couldn't postpone till after the season? When you get back, and want to reel in some fish let me know, you and I will share some H2O time this year. You do a great job with this site, Da-phish.

Thanks Phish, I to look forward to hanging out on the water and bringing in a few nice trout.

I'll be good for early May, especially if I don't have to cast too much.

Best Always,
Vinny

Good to know, like I said, my boats are further away, very peaceful, large trout, bald eagles, no riff-raff. Always willing to show the brown trout ways to others, it's  a long season, thank-God. Good luck if you go out, I'll check the weather 1x on Friday if it 's possible to get out Sat, I'll send you a pm, da-phish.

phishahn,
I am free on 4/19 and would be happy to take you out on my 12' semi V. The boat is located on Rye Lake (Kensico) and is near 100+ feet of water. I have caught many lakers there. Let me know the time, and if you want me the bring anything? The parking for area 13 is on Lake Street on the north side of the street just after you cross over Rt.684, going towards White Plains.  It is very close to exit 3, Westchester Airport, on Rt. 684.

Hey Tom thanks for the offer, however, I spoke to soon, that day is now booked, what  about the Sunday 4/20? I'll bring all the gear, just will need shiners and real solid directions. I went to Kensico 1x, and got twisted doing it, Phish.
