Sat morning Mar 22
« on: March 22, 2008, 10:54:20 am »
I managed to get to the Rt 22 Bridge this moring. At 7am there were already 3 cars. The wind was 10mph from the NW so everyone was fishing
the Rye Lake side. Even then it was windy as hell and prett cold. Casting
a Croc the top guide would freeze up aftera few casts. Baitfishing the, rod
tip would constantly wiggle from the wind. The water level seemed to be
about 18-20 inches down. A few more people came around 9:00am. No body on either North or Soth side of the Bridge seemed to be connecting. I had no bites, no strikes and froze my butt off. Otherwise it was a great morning.

Ken,
Thanks, any report is a helpful report. I commend you for your attempt in this cold and wind. I drove up the Taconic yesterday and my car (99 Corolla) was being pushed side to side by the wind at times.

Best Always,
Vinny
