Thanks Man. Only got to fish CR in may and it was good. I don't have a boat there so I don't get to fish it often but it always produces but as far as catching quality fish(6-10 lbs) on almost daily basis CF is hands down the best I think.

I have been on CF for 6-7 times this season and I have absolutely nothing to show for and I had only one bite off a bobber and I miss hooked the fish! I have my doubts about this watershed..don't think I will fish anymore this season..oh I take it back, I might once to put away my boat.

When was the last time you were out on CFR? I've been out on it at least a dozen times this season and have nothing really to show for it as well.

I came back from Cancun and had a extended fishing vacation upstate Last Sunday/Mon/Tuesday.
Sunday: 4 bites, 1  14 inch Bass
Monday: 5 bites, 1 20 inch brown, 1 26 inch pickerel, 1 14 inch bass
Tuesday: 1 bite 1 12 inch Bass, hooked too deep, left for the resident bald eagle
had fun.

I finally got out on CF this am after moving a boat there end of July. Tried for  trout with bellies, no action, did mark fish around 25', if the bellies got any deeper, they were dead. Also saw fish near the bottom in deep water, but showed no interest in jig. Saw some surface action closer to shore, so moved and caught some smallies up to 15" and white perch to 11" on bellies and a silver kastmaster so at least it wasn't a total bust for my first trip out. Wasn't expecting much this time of year, but I was encouraged to mark a lot more fish than I did in Titicus where I had this boat before.

CFR was a wash for me this season. I was out over a dozen times this season and didn't land anything to be impressed about. I may try it out again at the end of october but until than I will be stream fishing.

Any updates on CFalls? I havent fished it in a month or two since I got the boat on Kensico.
