Ken, Ceviche is easy. Just Google it and you'll get a million recipes. They're all basically the same in that lime juice is what cooks the fillets (cut them to bite size pieces). They all use lots of cilantro. After that, it can vary as to what else goes in. Some like it hot with jalapeno. Red onions are nice. Definitely some other veggies for a little crunch. Read a bunch of recipes and then make your own hybrid and it will come out great the first time. I never did it with trout but have used bass and panfish. I've had it wit salmon so I imagine you could use a brown. It's a great summertime food like watermelon and Neng Myung.

Thanks Jon. I have always has only white meat fish as ceviche so I never thought about salmon.
But you're right, if salmon works so will Browns.

Eric.    u should try prospect park to get the hang of it. i have two boats up there one in new croton. and the other in crossriver. the one in n.c. i will put in kensico when they call me. I'm on the list. i went 2 weeks ago to crossriver. the heat really messes up the fishing cause the fish get lazy and don't bite they like it cool. some have luck some dint. i got Nada. i live in Brooklyn bushwick. next time i go up there ill let u know i could use company. cause I'm always by myself. ill let u know OK
