R.I.P. Guitarist Jeff Healey...
« on: March 09, 2008, 07:56:11 pm »

I saw him at the Beacon Theatre about 12 years ago. This is a shot from that night. He was an incredible guitarist. His unique style came from being blind since age 1. He was dogged by cancer from birth and finally got him at the young age of 41.

I also met another guitarist who knew him and she said he was an even finer person, a great family man and friend to all.

Vinny, 1 hour ago I was going thru some old cassettes I have, and I picked up 2 Jeff Healy tapes I haven't listened to in years, how freakin' ironic, that's truly scary. I'm going to see Van Halen Thursday night, saw them in Nov. they were rockin', a few Eddie issues during the show, but they were tight overall, hopefully Eddie will do the re-hab thing after the show, Da-phish.
