Pepacton is funny.. I usually do not mark too many fish in deep 40+ ft. close to shore, I mark fish all the time but then it is likely to be bass.
Have a friend who put up boat 2 years ago near power lines and had a great year last year and caught a 12LB ( last year he said 11 lbs but now this year he says it wasa  12lbs'er ) but I have seen the picture and it was a big fish.
This year so far..zero zippo. so last week he moved his boat where I am,  he has been out 3 times and has yet to score.
Never know when the bite begins and when it ends!
