That's for sure. Those were fun times, Carmel had a great jav team. Did you keep up with it after high school chris? Did you go to nationals during your junior or senior year? Kraus must have been pissed with you beating him all the time. I had to deal with Lugwig, he had a great start but faded out.

I didn't go to nationals but I won Eastern States my junior year and came in 2nd at Loucks.. My senior year kinda went down will when coach Fill had triplets; I ended up coaching myself.

I went to nationals for junior college when I went to DCC and I had the school record at Pace University for a few years, that was in 2006.. I havent thrown competitively since then.

My little bro and I were throwing last summer, he was hittin around 165? and I was around 175? .. We are doin Empire State Games if they are having them next year.

Thats awesome you are really successful with it.  It was a great feeling beating everyone and placing in track meets. Good luck with the empire games.  I dont remember my best throw, i think it was 167 maybe? Not 100% sure, but i def. miss it.  i wish i kept up with it. Did you break the high school james brown record?  i think it was 170 something.
