those lures dwarf everything i have in my tackle box! I wonder if you could troll those?  Could be better than casting a lure that size 400 times a day.

I bet you could troll them. Despite their size, big swim baits usually don't have lips and therefore very little
resistance for their size and weight. But I doubt you could troll them and be able to present them in the type of cover you'd need to. Trolling them in the open like for trout probably won't do much.
A few years ago, I was shore casting for trout on Kensico in late November. I hooked what looked
like a 16-17 inch undersized Laker on a 1/2 oz Kroc. About 6 ft from the shore a huge largemouth that I would guess
about 5-6 lbs started chasing the struggling Laker. Out of instinct I tried to keep it from getting eaten and when
the fish was nearly at my feet the big bass saw me and took off. So I don't dout for a minute that these large trout swimbaits do work on very big bass.

I just don't get the whole, I'm going to show you what I caught but not tell you where, when, or how  ???

Whats the video going to be like, blue screen and masked identities, c'mon.  Oh, yea, is it possible that it wasnt even a swim bait, couldve been a small stockie, no?
I find it hilarious that RG only answers one of your questions with a photoshopped picture  ;D

Manny, Isnt it funny that you used your onethousandandfirst comment on this, you could of used it on any number of other useless comments, I almost feel honored
Thanks for pointing this out Paul I will keep your opinion in mind

Those baits are still small. I fish bigger...much bigger.

Hey Roman, I was merely presenting information or "facts" from another site. You can say what you want, but clearly, bass run bigger in massachussets than here. Best of luck on your journey to a 10# plus bass.
Though we mihgt have precious little, it's still precious....

That lure is half the size of the fish! Roman weigh the bait and tell us how much it weighs. Because i am thinking that if you catch a 9LB Bass after it has eaten a Trout that weighs as much as a fish the size of that Lure RG is using, Then it will easily pass the 10LBS Marker :o Maybe they are so hard to catch because they could live off one meal a month at that size of a meal!

They are hard to catch because they feed in very small windows of time....aside from being a lot smarter than most ppl think.
