Few more fat donkeys
« on: April 28, 2011, 11:56:00 am »
Went out with a friend to help him land his first 5 pounder. Numerous small fish, missed a few big fish: few 5 pounders, had a big fish (easy 8lb) lightly hit but couldnt get her to fully commit. Missed a whole bunch more. got some pics and vids(but cant post those up)

5.5 pounder

6.5?

Pics dont do this fish any justice. was much bigger in person and had a wide back. She was fatttttt.
you tell me what she weighted. 6 and half straight up.

Need to fix my scale  :(

just curious as to how you know you missed an 8lb+? did you see the fish?

It's a big fish. Congratulations. It would be a lot easier to tell if you held it closer to your body and we knew your height/size. Question. Why have you blacked out the swimbait?

Roman watched a lot of spy movies as a kid. LOL

Honestly he's not the only secretive angler around but, like many I know, he does share. I've fished with Roman and he's very generous with his theories and techniques on catching big fish. There were days we got skunked and I know we could have caught a dozen 2 lbers but that wasn't our objective.

The test will be how much he reveals in some videos we plan on making this season.

Best to All,
Vinny

I disagree I enjoying seeing the big fish posted by fellow members (shoped or not), it motivates me to get out there and catch bigger fish.
