I was out on Muscoot shore fishing for Crappie and I nailed a Pickerel

Not sure i haven't got my tape measure yet (but its on order) so I just C&R everything right now. But I would guess 15 or 16

Yep just stop by Bobs and ask them and they will tell you of some shore fishing spots on Muscoot

Pink? Do you mean packaged colored dead shiners? Or were the
live shiners pink?

They were alive and pink and looked like shiners have to ask Bobs S&T

Wow, never seen them. Did they just look naturally
"pinkish" or did they look like they were dyed pink?

I went into Bobs S&T and John wasnt there but he left instructions for his guy there (i think it was his cousin) he left a couple of things ready that I was going to pick up to go Crappie fishing and I asked him for whatever the crappie were hitting and he gave me these kind of Peach/pinkish colored shiners and they looked natural, Not dyed like those fish from petland. I tried to call today to ask what exactly they were called but it went to Vmail

OK thanks. Sounds like a natural color and perhaps that
batch simply didn't get nuch sun before shipping out.  ;D

Forgive Me I was just Corrected and was told I was not on Muscoot but was on the NWestern tip of NC. when I caught this. Sorry about that but I thought the Crappie hole on Rt100 was Muscoot(hence Muscoot Farm) but apparently I was wrong. :'( It really all dosent matter to me which body of water it was on I am just happy I caught the fish ;D
