Spiderwire has a fishing line called ultracast fluoroBraid has anyone tried it? What are your thoughts on it on baitcasting and spinning reels?

Never used it but it suppose to be regular braid  with the density of fluorocarbon.

The reviews are funny. Doesn't sound like it's a big hit.

I use a knot for mono to flouro on my spinning reel and I don't have any problems with it.

I like 30 lb power pro with a 15lb mono backing for my baitcaster which I use for shore fishing and I use 10lb mono with 4ft of flouro leader for my spinning but I am gonna switch out the mono and try copolymer.

I wouldn't think so, I use backing because 30lb braid has the diameter of like 6lb mono and braid tends to dig in to itself under tension so having a backing helps out with that.

no flouro does not, I originally had 10lb Berkley vanish on my baitcaster without backing, but my first cast I got a bad "birds nest"  and i had to remove it all. I am not blaming the line, it had to do with my lack of knowledge on how to use baitcasters.

Berkley Vanish fluorocarbon 12lb test. Its not a good line for spinning reels to much memory in that line.
