Cross River Bass...

...are still being finicky. I've talked with five fishermen on the lake and they say much the same thing, its still too warm.

Although yesterday in about two feet of weed choked water a very large bass swirled so close to the boat I could have clubbed him with an oar!  But that would have been bad form, to interupt his tanning session that way.
