"I find it interesting that no one has commented on where the guy is on Kensico. Not many people know to look for big browns this time of year where this guy was."

I recognized the area and thought the same thing... and i'm not saying where it is. :)

Such a big puzzle!  There are only two bridges on Kensico, and this is not the Rye Bridge...

Haahaa I reckognise that bridge  ;D.. lol  my boat spot is right there! lol too bad I row right past that spot all the time and decide to row 25 min to the rt 22 bridge..  great workout; by the time a get there i could fall right asleep! lol

quick question: obviously trout could be all over the place but is that area good for trout? i always thought that spot was best for bass, perch, panfish only? I always see people jigging there in the middle as i pass but i always thought they were mainly bass guys!
I don't exaggerate I just remember BIG!!!

A veteran trout guy once told me that November and early spring are the times for the trout to get up into the shallower northern arms of Kensico.

Yes but only in march, april and december.
Any other time you have to go at least the dropoff
before the twin towers.
I think we all recognize the location. LOL

Yeah, I think everyone reading this knows that spot.   ;) On some of the other fishing sites I read people go completely INSANE when someone mentions a specific spot online, even when it's blatantly obvious in a photo. A little much, but I get it...

I get a kick out of photos holding a fish and the background is all
photoshopped out.

Reminds me of midnight run ...the bounty hunter with the hostage...  takes a picture with the hotel logo on a towel in the background.
